Built in 1910 by architects Shepley Rutan & Coolidge, the former Cambridge Gas Light Company building sits at the center of Central Square, Cambridge. In 2022, the building was approved for mixed-use development, comprised of retail use on the basement and ground level, office on the second and third floor, and hotel use on levels three through six. The project team has also worked closely with the Cambridge Historical Society to undergo a full facade restoration and elegant lighting strategy.
